'Shri Chander Singh Negi Memorial Trust' is named in the memory of a simple man from a humble background, who was always dedicated to helping those in need. Late Shri Chander Singh Negi, from Kola village in Block Pokhra of Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, was a former employee of Glaxo India Limited and devoted his life to philanthropic endeavors. He played a key role in founding the Kolagad Vikas Samiti aimed at the upliftment of his community. Through his tireless efforts, he contributed significantly to the betterment of his village, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and service. To carry forward his father's legacy, Shri Lalit Mohan Negi stepped in to expand and realize his late father's vision. In 2019, he established this trust with the support of like-minded and generous individuals, aiming to promote holistic development that prioritizes the well-being and progress of the entire community.
